Walter Halperin, age 74, of Glenview, beloved husband of the late Ellen, nee Shugan, and the late Iris, nee Hodges; loving father of Liv (Reed) Farrell, Dr. David (Dr. Carol) Halperin and Wendy (Dr. Scott) Meyer; adored grandfather of Dana, Jamie and Emily Ferrell, Daniel and Michael Halperin, Steven, Lara and Brian Meyer; dear stepfather of Mark (Tamara) Furlet, Nicole (Philip) Shemroske and Steven (Lynn) Furlett and all of their wonderful children; treasured cousin of Marcia (Sam) Myers.
