The bail conditions for Dallas Stars defenseman Trevor Daley, accused of making death threats to a bar doorman in Toronto, included an odd and ominous stipulation, according to the Dallas Morning News. Daley was ordered not to associate with members of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang. According to attorney Dan Kirby, Daley does not know any bikers. The Toronto Sun reported that Daley has worn Hells Angels “support wear” and lives near the group’s Toronto clubhouse. It might be worth it for Daley to emphasize the association, real or imagined. How many NHL forwards would want to go into the corners with a defenseman who hangs around with a motorcycle gang in his spare time?
