Betty Jane Ayers, nee Fischer, age 78, late of Carol Stream and formerly of Naperville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, cherished wife of L. Edward Ayers; fond cousin of many. Lying in state on Friday, Sept. 10, 2004 at 10 a.m. until time of Service at 10:30 a.m. at the Beverly Evangelical Covenant Church, 10545 S. Claremont Ave., Chicago, with Rev. Donald K. Nelson, Pastor officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero, Oak Lawn. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Windsor Park Manor, 120 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream.
