Virginia D. “Ginny” Ostergaard, 77, resident of Wilmette, died of lung cancer on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004. Wife of J. Kroy; mother of Jack (Jane), Jill (Ken) Jacobsen and Jerry (Lynn); grandmother of seven; sister of Robert (Carol) Donovan. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1024 Lake St., Wilmette. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the North Shore Senior Center, 161 Northfield Rd., Northfield, IL 60093 or Hospice of the North Shore, 2821 Central St., Evanston, IL 60201.
