Albert Poggioli, 86, of Byron, formerly of Rockford, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004 in his home. He was born Dec. 27, 1917 in Mark, IL, the daughter of Peter and Rosa Benedetti Poggioli. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; daughter, Lynne (Col. Park) Plumb of Germany; son, Mark (Nancy) Poggioli of Winnetka; grandchildren, Marcus and Lyall Plumb and Peter, Annie and Mary Poggioli. Christian Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Sept. 10, 2004 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, 220 E. 2nd St., Byron with Rev. Timothy Doherty, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rockford. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 506 W. Merchant St., Byron.
