Josephine Virgilio. After a long illness, Josephine died with her daughters at her side. Josephine Camillo was born on Oct. 27, 1925 in Chicago. She graduated from McKinley High School in 1943. Josephine worked in the Tabulating Division of The Northern Trust Company. She married Frank Virgilio in September, 1947. They moved to Glen Ellyn Countryside in 1957, where Josephine resided until her death. In 1978, she became the bookstore manager at Glenbard North High School. Josephine retired in 1991 to enjoy her home and visits from friends and family. She is survived by two brothers, Armando and Tulio Camillo; two sisters, Claire Crosby and Velia Piers; three children, Richard Virgilio, Barbara Brough and Susan Virgilio; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband in 1967 and her sister, Mary Anderson in 1994. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 10, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 415 N. Gary Ave., Carol Stream. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Matthew Church in Glendale Heights on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to VNA Hospice of Fox Valley or DuPage Senior Citizens Council. 630-510-0044 .
