Ray R. Talbot, 82, of Elgin, loving son of the late Ernest and Grace Talbot; beloved husband of the late Mary Talbot; fond father to Kirk (Linda) Talbot and Ross (Sandra) Talbot; dear grandfather to Ross, Kevin, Kristin, Jessica, Samantha, Nathaniel, Benjamin and Joshua. He was a Vet. of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Ray worked for Montgomery Ward 35 years prior to retirement. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St. (Rt. 31), Elgin, IL 60123, 847-741-8800 Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of Services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local homeless shelter.
