Robert Joseph Trnka, age 71, of Winston, OR, died Sept. 5, 2004. Mr. Trnka was born on Dec. 3, 1932 in Chicago, IL, son of Alois C. Trnka, cellist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for 47 years and Mary E., nee Kernan, Trnka, musical director with the Chicago Public High School System for over 26 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by Mildred Wilson-Trnka; his son, Stephen Trnka (Patricia); one sister Marilyn Trnka-Mozockie (Raymond), of Glen Ellen, IL; nieces Deneen Mozockie-Thom, Corriene Mozockie-Vega and nephew Jeffrey C. Mozockie. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor’s Family Chapel, Winston, OR. 541-679-6983 .
