Trump kicked off the second season of his hit NBC reality show “The Apprentice” Thursday, the set where the newest round of aspirant tycoons is filmed included a kitchen fit for a billionaire. — What kitchen system did he pick? Poliform USA, manufacturer of contemporary super-performers. Their spacious Alea kitchen system with cabinets in stainless steel was chosen because it is minimalist and well-planned, and to help the team stay organized and on track, says Kelly Van Patter, the program’s set designer. — Even though he’s in the money, Trump didn’t spend a dime for it. Everything in The Donald’s kitchen was donated by manufacturers in return for mass-media advertising.
