Lois E. Meintzer, 81, lifelong resident of Deerfield, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004 on her late husband’s birthday, loving wife of the late Willard C. Meintzer; dearest mother of Paul W. (Rita), Kurt A. (Jackie), Karen L., Martin J. and Chris J. (Sharon) Meintzer; fond grandmother of Joe, Drew, Sarah, Jake, Klarissa and Annah Meintzer. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Charles Meintzer and her grandson, Steven Paul Meintzer. Throughout the years she cared for and touched the lives of many children in the Deerfield area. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004 at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park. Mass 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 20094 at St. Patrick’s Church, 991 Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Highland Park.
