Since Bill Clinton turned down the offer to host “Saturday Night Live’s” season opener, the show got the next best thing … or did it?
Ben Affleck, who most recently hosted “SNL” in March, kicks off the sketch-comedy show’s 30th season on Oct. 2 with musical guest Nelly. It will be Affleck’s third turn as host.
Zap2it.com says Ben likely will promote his filmed-in-Chicago movie, “Surviving Christmas,” out this fall, during the opening monologue.
