It was nice to see Week 1 was full of lots of upsets, not counting my choice of the spicy noodles over the fried rice as an in-between-games snack.

What was not nice was seeing some runt pooch staying with me stride for stride on my picks. Stupid dog, you can’t even spell “over-under.”

Dear Wallace: Week 2 is just like Week 1 except we turn up the volume Whizzer style. Eat my shorts, if I wore any.

Look at me. I’m all frazzled. He’s just a dog. That’s all. Nothing more. I don’t fear that face.

Must … focus … on NFL picks. Be strong. Courage.

Bears (0-1) at Green Bay (1-0)

Sunday, noon WFLD-Ch. 32

Things you should know: Seems like it was only last Dec. 7 when the Bears made five turnovers against the Packers, including a 90-yard interception return by Mike McKenzie. That’s because it was. Look, Rex Grossman is the future and a bright one at that. But the Packers came out roaring on Monday night and they’re as healthy as they’ll ever be. And they’re at home. And Brett Favre still rules. And despite my calls on the floor of the United Nations, Ahman Green hasn’t retired yet.

The line: Packers by 8 1/2 Over/under: 41 Final shake: Packers. But prove me wrong.
