If there is such a demand for air travel, maybe airline CEOs should start raising prices.
They continue to complain about losing money while cutting salaries, yet they want to expand O’Hare International Airport.
Raise the low fares and lower the high fares, bring back the larger aircraft and compete with reliability and service. If you raise the low fares 10 to 20 percent and lose 2 percent of your cheap-seat passengers, you are still ahead.
As a consumer I would not mind paying a little more rather than traveling like a sardine.
