– The 27th annual Lake Geneva Classic Car Rally begins Sept. 24 with a Taste of the Rally reception at Richardson’s on Lake Geneva, Wis., and ends with a poker run Sept. 26. In between there will be car and air shows, children’s events, a concert and a dance based at Interlaken Resort on Wisconsin Highway 50. The event, to benefit the American Cancer Society, was founded in 1978 in memory of Corinne Kreissl. The poker run costs $10 per hand with a two-hand minimum. Registration is due by 6 p.m. Sept. 25. – Delavan Lake Yacht Club in Wisconsin is hosting an adaptive sailing clinic for members of the wheelchair basketball team at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and additional disabled sailors from Chicago Sept. 25. One of the top female sailors in the country, Betsy Alison, will be an instructor. The yacht club, at 1501 Cedar Point Dr. , Delavan, is providing 13 Flying Scots boats for the adaptive clinic.
