If you’re looking for the annual Heritage Days festival in Veterans Park on Sunday, you won’t find it. City officials were forced to cancel the popular event because of continuing work on the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District’s Deep Tunnel project at the park.
Instead, the model train show is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sept. 26at the Cultural Center, 760 Wentworth Ave. Call the city’s Historical Society at 708-832-9390.
