It is amazing to see how Vietnam has become so important to the Democratic Party this election. When Bill Clinton ran for president, the Democrats told us that Vietnam happened years ago and the fact that Clinton was a draft dodger was not important to the present times.
Now all we hear is how John Kerry’s service in Vietnam will make him a wonderful president.
If people think joining the National Guard is draft dodging, maybe they should visit the family members of the National Guard soldiers who have given their lives in Iraq.
