Workplace innovation honored
Winning Workplaces, in collaboration with Fortune Small Business magazine, is hosting a day of seminars and a dinner honoring small-business leaders whose innovative practices have contributed to positive workplaces.
The 2004 Best Bosses Seminars and Celebration begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mid-America Club, 200 E. Randolph Drive, 80th floor.
Mellody Hobson, president of Ariel Capital Management, will discuss “Keys to Building High-Performance Workplaces,” and the 2003 Best Bosses award recipients will share their insights on creating highly effective workplaces.
John Edwardson, chairman and chief executive officer of CDW Corp., will deliver the keynote speech at the 2004 Best Bosses Gala Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
The cost is $75 for the seminars, $125 for dinner, and $175 for both.
