There are still lessons to be learned from our conflicts in Korea and Vietnam. Both wars lacked completion and resulted in decades of suffering for millions of people, which continues today. We cannot consider anything less than complete victory over the terrorists and insurgents, no matter what the cost. We owe it to ourselves as well as to the millions we’ve let down in the past.
