Alice Armstrong, nee Haase-Kiemele, age 87, passed away peacefully at her residence in Chicago, loving mother of Susan (James) Sloat and Kim Foster (Roberta) Armstrong; dear sister of Frank (the late Billie) Kiemele and the late Genevieve F. (Albert) Weiner; fond aunt of Terry L. Weiner; grandmother of Cindy Marie; great-grandmother of three. Hairdresser until the age of 81. Formerly a model in the fashion industry under the name of Alice Adams. Visitation Sunday, 2 to 8 p.m., at the Ryan Funeral Home, 18022 Dixie Highway, in Homewood. Funeral services Monday, 2:30 p.m. at the Deer Creek Christian Church, 425 Exchange in University Park. Mrs. Armstrong will lie-in-state from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services at church.
