Ramona R. Stratton, age 84, of Post Lake, WI, died Sept. 22, 2004 at St. Mary Hospital, Rhinelander, WI. She was born April 3, 1920 in Beaver, OK to the late Albert and Dora, nee Thomas, Seal. She married Gardner W. Stratton Jr. on Sept. 29, 1935 in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1990. Ramona moved to the Chicago area as a child where she raised her children. She was a member of several groups including the Eastern Star Organization. She moved to Post Lake in 1986 and was a member of United Church of Christ-Congregational, Elcho, WI. Survivors include a daughter, Marcia (Philip) Nudd of Ventura, CA; four sons, Richard (Ann) Stratton of Ludington, MI, Craig Stratton of Los Alamitos, CA, Terry (Dorie) Stratton of Las Vegas, NV and Scott (Anne) Stratton of Glen Ellyn, IL; three sisters, Lenore (Charles) Parrent of Pueblo, CO, Eloise Brownfield of Cape Coral, FL and Carol (Jim) Hilti of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Preston (Betty) Seal of Park Ridge, IL and David (Eleanore) Seal of Brookfield, WI; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janis Robertson. Funeral Services will be Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, 1 p.m. at the United Church of Christ-Congregational Church, Elcho, WI, Reverend Jack LaMar will officiate. Visitation will be on Sunday at Church from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo, WI is assisting the family. 715-623-3787.
