My husband and I live with financial frustration. Both of us are college-educated, well brought up, good people. Five years ago, we were making $15,000 more than we are today. Both of us are underemployed and underpaid!

I am so angry how this present administration has exercised such careless financial discipline. During the nearly four years that George Bush has been in power, our quality of life has suffered. We are working harder and harder and losing out on the joys of the American Dream. We spend less time with our children because we are forced to work more hours to pay for only the necessities. Even the basic utility bills cause us financial struggle. We have no savings for our children’s future, let alone our own.

The question I have is, why? Why have a college education when we’re not able to pay back the student loans? The jobs out there are not that great.

Why?

Why does our country sit on a debt brought on by this administration with the money poorly managed?

We have no choice but to change the economic objectives in this country. We cannot afford the extension of this force in action. We need to bring back financial discipline!
