Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
I am a brand new Chicago Tribune subscriber. This week I received my first paper. What a treat it was to read Tribune correspondent Mike Dorning’s story about the Navy corpsmen serving alongside the Marines (“Medics in Iraq battle for comrades; There’s little time for fear as Navy corpsmen try to save Marines in war-torn Ramadi streets,” Page 1, Sept. 20).
I am a retired Navy chief petty officer and have always been aware of the Naval corpsmen’s tradition of bravery and dedication. Now all Chicago Tribune readers also know. Thank you, Mike Dorning; thank you, Chicago Tribune. Bravo Zulu (the Navy’s traditional way of saying, “well done!”).
