Oh hooray for Anne and Liz Taubeneck (“Suburbia meets bohemia; To experience her counterculture daughter’s lifestyle firsthand, a North Shore mom spends a week at Burning Man, a bizarre festival in the Nevada desert,” Tempo, Sept. 23). My heart read with glee and joy about their daughter/mother adventure to Burning Man–no angst with these two. They love each other enough to allow one another room to be who they are, whether staid, artsy, cranky or wildly fun.
May moms and daughters everywhere read and learn. It can be done!
