Forget Nashville–country music is heading to New York City. Well, at least the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards are. Next year’s awards will be the first to be held outside of Nashville. The 39th annual event will be held at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 15, 2005, and will be broadcast live on CBS, billboard.com reports.
