In “Familiar terrorists” (Voice of the people,Oct. 8), letter writer Patrick Johnson states that the terrorists are “us.” He notes that gun ownership advocates scare him more than burglars and that if more people are allowed to own guns, the roadways and political demonstrations would become bloodbaths. Maybe he should stay in Evanston because 38 states in the union allow right-to-carry laws for their citizens.
