Honda has built scooters powered by fuel cells and gasoline-electric engines, extending the technology to two-wheeled vehicles. One scooter has a fuel cell-power plant the size of a 125-cc gasoline engine; the other is a hybrid two-wheeler with a 50-cc engine. Honda’s spokesman Tetsuya Ikeda didn’t say when the scooters would go on sale.
