Here’s a list of things I’m keeping in mind when I head to the voting booth:
– I need to remember the lack of tax relief that I received being a citizen making under $27,000 annually.
– I need to remember the multitude of interviews I went to in the spring of 2003, after graduating with honors from my university, and having to begin my postcollege years working for a temp agency.
– I need to remember my three family members in the military as the number of U.S. soldier casualties and injuries became greater since the war “ended” on May, 1st 2003.
– I need to remember that five of my close family members (aunts, uncles) have been laid off in the past year in Ohio; some of which have been employed at the same job for over 10 years.
– I need to remember my uncle in Ohio, who was laid off from his job and now earns less than half of his previous income and supports a wife, a house and three children.
