Thank you, Steve Chapman, for almost exactly expressing my sentiments in “Why I’m voting for John Kerry” Commentary, Oct. 24). I voted for George W. Bush in 2000; it is one of the biggest mistakes in judgment I have ever made. I, too, plan to vote for Kerry. I wish the Democrats had given us a better candidate, but he can’t do more damage than Bush has.
