I keep hearing the single-issue argument that fighting terrorism trumps all other considerations this election. If this alone precludes education, the environment, budget deficits, health care, gun control, the right to choose, corporate welfare, jobs, intelligence reform, Supreme Court nominations, constitutional rights, Social Security . . . well then what’s left worth fighting for?
