Player representatives will meet with union leadership Tuesday in Toronto in what is billed as a routine update on the labor dispute so player reps can brief their teammates. The meeting is doubling as a show of union unity seven weeks into the lockout. However, Commissioner Gary Bettman said Monday, “I think the season may slip away.”
