The USA Today reported that Cowboys receiver Keyshawn Johnson took exception to the sideline reporting of Fox Sports’ Pam Oliver during the Oct. 24 Cowboys-Packers game.

On his Sirius Satellite Radio show last week, Johnson commented on Oliver’s in-game report that said the Cowboys receiver yelled at an assistant coach.

Johnson said it was untrue and–according to the newspaper–went further and said, “I almost wanted to get on a plane, find where she is at and sit her down and spank her with a ruler really, really hard because it makes no sense.”

Soon after the comment, Oliver told The Dallas Morning News, “My job is to report what I see. I do not make stories up. … Keyshawn is having a complete denial of reality.”

When asked what she would do if Johnson tried to spank her, Oliver told the Dallas paper, “I will punch him in the face.”

A Fox Sports spokesman said the network stands behind Oliver’s original report.
