How odd that an album titled “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb” would come out with such an explosion of cross-promotion.
Critics might even accuse veteran rockers U2 of selling out as they bring their latest disc to stores. The band already has struck a deal with Apple to release a limited-edition U2 iPod; now it can be heard on America’s No. 1 TV show, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”
Part of “Vertigo” played on last week’s episode, eonline.com reports, and a special remix will play during the show’s 100th episode on Nov. 18. In addition, another track is set to play on the Nov. 25 episode, the same day a new mix of “Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own” will play on “The O.C.”
The album comes out Nov. 22.
