Steve Stone’s connection to Chicago baseball could best be continued by Jerry Reinsdorf making him the White Sox general manager. Stone has long and openly sought a chance to run a ballclub. What better way to keep him in Chicago, and keep him a burr in the hide of Cubs management.
I’m convinced he would be extremely good in that capacity, and he would give long-suffering White Sox fans surcease from the continued inadequacies of Kenny Williams.
