Southwest Airlines plans to add 16 nonstop flights from Midway Airport early next year. The new flights would go to 13 cities that it serves from Midway, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Philadelphia. Southwest says it could begin the flights in the first quarter of 2005 without adding to its 19 gates at Midway.
