John “Jack” McIntyre, Jr., 79, died in peace, hand held by family, on Sunday, November 7, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Ann, nee Getman; cherished father of Catherine Simon, John D., W. Scott, Richard R. (Susan), Susanne (Marty) Zlocki; endeared grandfather of Jaime (Jared) Perkins and Nathaniel; dear great-grandfather of Sylvia and Zoe Perkins; dearly loved brother of James (Evelyn). He served as a marine in WW II and taught for over 40 years at Old Orchard Junior High School. Graveside service to be held on Friday, November 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, Illinois. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel, 933 Skokie Boulevard, Northbrook, Illinois.
