As a Vietnam veteran, I do believe in serving my country, but I could not keep the tears from filling my eyes as I looked at all those, mostly young faces in Sunday’s Perspective section, the men and women who have lost their lives in Iraq.
I just hope that the God that President Bush so fervently believes in can forgive him for all the lives, both American and Iraqi, he has wasted in a war started under false pretenses.
Shame on you, Mr. President!
