Well that’s just great. Now this changes everything.

I’m not real big on surprises in fantasy football, unless they benefit me, and Sunday provided a doozy.

Meet Mr. Willis McGahee, world-beater.

In one Sunday afternoon, the Buffalo Bills starting-running-back-for-life became the man on his team. McGahee rushed for four touchdowns against Seattle–that’s one more rushing TD than the Bills have had in 10 games. In fact, it took them until their seventh game to get their first two scores on the ground, also by McGahee.

Now here comes Mr. McG, upsetting the delicate balance of all things fantasy. These were no Chiefs he ran through like wet tissue paper.

The Seahawks had given up only seven rushing scores all season. McGahee racked up more than half that total in one ugly afternoon.

But wait, it gets better. After Miami, the schedule gods have gifted McGahee owners with games against Cleveland, at Cincinnati and at San Francisco.

The Seahawks aren’t the best defense in the world, but they look like the ’85 Bears next to these clowns.

Did you see the score, 58-48, in that Browns-Bengals game? It’s like each team’s backfield was protected by its own chuck rule–5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

For the next few weeks, start McGahee, then sit back and watch the carnage. And thank your blessings.
