John Raymond Ward, of Chicago , age 86, died peacefully on Oct. 24th. Beloved husband of Rosa; loving dear father to Patty Ward; loving stepdad to Rosemary (Ed) Serrano; and proud adopted grandpa to Tania, Christina, and Melissa; fond brother of the late Dorothy Mallon and James Ward; favorite uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Proud member of the Marines. The sun will seem less bright now, but the stars, aided by his charm and infectious smile, will twinkle even brighter now that he is up there among them.
