Starting Tuesday some NHL players, coaches, general managers and referees will attend a two-day summit Red Wing Brendan Shanahan is organizing to talk about how to make hockey better. They’re not there to discuss the lockout. “I just thought it would be interesting to sit in a room together and discuss the game of hockey–just the game of hockey,” Shanahan told the Canadian Press.
