I disagree with Jennifer E. Bell in “Holiday irony” when she states: “First we are reminded to `Support Our Troops’ (in other words, support our government’s policy in Iraq) on the yellow ribbon stickers plastered on car bumpers.”

I did not vote for President Bush in either election and do not support most of his ideas.

I do, however, support our troops.

They are sent over there to do a job and they are doing it.

They don’t have the option of just quitting a job, like non-military people; they would be labeled “traitors.”

Also Bush was elected as president of the United States.

But for some reason he seems to think he was voted president of the entire world.

No way.

I hope Bush listens to almost half of the voters of this country (the ones who didn’t vote for him) and does some major rethinking. Bring those soldiers home, before there aren’t any left to bring home.

Please.
