At the start of the 16th Century, most holidays observed by the people of Europe were in celebration of a saint’s day or Christmas.

“The American Heritage Dictionary” states that the original word was “holidai,” meaning “holy day.”

The secularists in this country would like us to forget this fact entirely.

You can change the name but not history.
