Molly McGue scored 15 points and No. 10 Benet used a 7-0 run midway through the fourth quarter to hold off Glenbard West 53-51 Monday.

Benet’s Kelsey Whalen scored seven of her 12 points during the third quarter while teammate Kaitlin McInerney (10 points, three blocks) sat out with foul trouble. Lauren Benson had nine points and six assists for the Redwings (11-2).

Kelly Krumwiede collected 15 points and 10 rebounds for Glenbard West (10-4), and Gretchen Demong hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to provide the final margin.

Wheaton S. 54, W. Chicago 46: Keilani Moeaki had 25 points and seven rebounds, and the Tigers (6-4) hit 13 of 20 free throws in the fourth quarter. Nicole Farr added nine points for Wheaton South.
