Why don’t the two sides in the NHL lockout just accept the best offer the other side has proposed, and if they are really correct that there is more money to be made, put the rest into escrow until they can figure things out? At least they would stop the erosion of their fan base, make a little money and have the amount being held available later. It may also help the bargaining climate for everyone to get back to work.
