– GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co. has sued China’s Chery Automobile Co., charging it with illegally copying one of its car models. South Korea’s GM Daewoo claims “extreme similarities” between the Chevrolet Spark, which is based on its Daewoo Matiz mini-car, and Chery’s QQ car, and accuses Chery of violating its intellectual property rights. Both models are being sold in China.
