Whether she was celebrating her 50th birthday or fulfilling her viewers’ wildest dreams, Oprah Winfrey couldn’t stay away from “Entertainment Tonight’s” cameras.

The TV tabloid named the Windy City billionaire its top star of 2004, a year in which she was the subject of 119 stories, more than any other celebrity.

Michael Jackson (115) came in second, though the coverage he received was far less flattering. Rounding out the top 10 were Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise and Sarah Jessica Parker.
