I want to thank the Tribune for publishing Barbara Brotman’s story “Muslim youth forge own path in America” (News, Dec. 23). As a Muslim youth myself, I am grateful that your newspaper took the time to notice us as average Americans. Our religion can only be understood and appreciated through unbiased accounts of everyday Muslims. Thanks for representing us accurately.
