Donald C. Taylor, 81, of Blue Island, formerly of Chicago, passed away Dec. 18, 2004. He is survived by his loving sisters, Jean and Marilyn; also survived by his children Curtis, Douglas and Susan; held dear as grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of six. Mr. Taylor was a jazz musician and composer throughout the first half of his life and later was a drapery business operator. A memorial service will be held at New Hope Church, 5100 W. 115th St., in Alsip on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m.
