You had to know the first time the public laid eyes on Scott Peterson’s blond, doe-eyed mistress that a TV movie was inevitable–if not several of them.
The USA Network rushed out last year’s “The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story,” starring Dean Cain. Now CBS has paid for the rights to make a movie based on Amber Frey’s book.
“Witness: For the Prosecution of Scott Peterson”–which details Amber’s fling with the man convicted of murdering his wife and unborn child–was the No. 2 best seller on amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com last week.
We have some thoughts on whom to cast for this movie.
For Amber
Jennifer Garner: Those “Alias” wigs will come in handy.
Jenny McCarthy: Resembles Amber, and like her, has nothing better to do.
For Scott
Ben Affleck: A dead-ringer for the real deal (below right). And it’s not like this role could hurt his career any more than it has been.
