How can the Tribune justify printing the details of the criminal records of the men slain at the Club Allure?
These men were innocent victims, not the perpetrators; one of them may have even been a hero in the incident.
Their criminal records are totally irrelevant to the story and printing them shows a callous disregard for the feelings of their grieving families. African-American readers who speculate that reporters may not seek out such details when the victims are white are probably correct.
