1. Ben Gordon
The rookie from Connecticut has become a fourth-quarter hero of late for the Bulls. He scored 13 of his 17 points in the final stanza of Monday’s win in New York.
2. Dick Gordon
The wide receiver from Michigan State played for the Bears from 1965-71. He led the team in receiving yardage three times and had nine 100-yard receiving games. He still ranks 9th on the Bears all-time list with 238 catches for 3,550 yards
3. Tom Gordon
Flash played on both sides of town. Of his 114 career saves, 27 came with the Cubs in 2001 and 12 came with the White Sox in 2003.
4. Gordon Gillespie
He was the football coach at Joliet Catholic from 1959-85. He went 222-54-6 and won 5 state titles and later coached at the College of St. Francis.
5. Louis Gordon
The tackle from Lane Tech played for Illinois from 1927-29. He played one season (1938) for the Bears.
6. Gordon Massa
Mike Gordon
Both were catchers and both played for the Cubs. And combined they played for all of 20 games. Massa caught 8 games over the 1957-58 seasons and Gordon caught 12 games in 1977-78.
